About this Fellowship
Supports study by current or prospective full-time graduate students pursuing PhDs from accredited universities anywhere in the world whose research interests are related to ideas of a free society.
Humane Studies Fellowships (HSF) are awarded to full-time graduate students embarking on liberty-advancing careers in ideas. Moreover, the fellowships support study in a variety of fields, including economics, philosophy, political science, history, and sociology. Awards are up $15,000 and fellowship winners may re-apply for each year of their studies.
Award Value
Awards up to $15,000 per year, with the larger awards of $6,000-$15,000 going to late-stage graduate students with a history of academic excellence and publication success. Also provides individual advising and an extensive support network to help ensure academic success before and after recipients receive their degree.
