Sir John Soane's Museum Foundation Traveling Fellowship Program

Enables students in graduate degree programs in the history of art, architecture, interior design, and the decorative arts to travel to London to pursue research projects related to any aspect of the work of Sir John Soane or Sir John Soane's Museum and its collections.

In order to be eligible, an applicant must be enrolled in a graduate degree program in the history of art, architecture, the decorative arts, interior design or in a field appropriate to the Foundation’s purpose.

Please note: Current graduate students applying for the Sir John Soane’s Museum Scholarship must also complete the USC Study Abroad Application due to the Study Abroad Office. If awarded grant, at least 30 days prior to departure you must complete the relevant Study Abroad Application found at the link to Forms and Applications, and then Graduate/Professional Students at sc.edu/studyabroad


Award Value

Two awards of $5,000 are presented annually.
