About this Fellowship
This funded fellowship offers young professionals the opportunity to spend a year in Germany, learning German, taking classes, and participating in a relevant internship.
The program is open to candidates, between the ages of 18 and 24, in all career fields who are interested in a year of cultural exchange.
Please note: Students applying for the CBYX must also complete the study abroad application process with the Education Abroad Office. See more information about the study abroad application process and their deadlines at the Education Abroad website.
Current graduate students applying for the CBYX must also submit information to the Education Abroad Office at least 30 days prior to departure. See their website for more information.
Award Value
In addition to providing a monthly stipend, the program covers the cost of round-trip international airfare, 2 months of intense German language study, tuition for one semester of study, housing, program-related travel, and health insurance in Germany.
