GPUs are becoming more prevalent in more open source and commercial applications..
To bolster USC’s capabilities in this area, Nvidia has donated a P-100 GPU with 16
GB memory and 6,000 GPU cores for compute-intense calculations and three M-6000 GPUs
each with 24 GB memory and 3,072 GPU cores for computational research and graphics
engines for RCI’s Vive and Oculus Virtual Reality systems.
