A New Chapter

 

Division of IT began 2024 with a new chapter in our story with the arrival of a new Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer, John “Brice” Bible Jr. Brice began his tenure on March 1, 2024.

Right from the start, Brice introduced himself to our division as a principled leader with strong values- Honesty, Respect, Growth, Excellence, and Community. He made a fair case for what he expects of our division and what we can expect from him. He demonstrated a clear understanding of the journey so far and what we can expect now that he is with us for the long haul.  

Prior to joining us, Brice served as vice president and CIO at the University at Buffalo, a member of the prestigious Association of American Universities, with an enrollment of 32,000 students. He brings 33 years of information technology leadership to USC.

We extend a hearty welcome to Brice and look forward to this next chapter in our story.
