Educators across the university system are invited to the second Tableau Day, scheduled for Thursday, March 24, 2022. Users will learn how Tableau is being leveraged by colleagues across the university.
In addition to learning from your peers, you will also hear several presentations from Tableau on topics such as utilizing the latest features and best practices from the Tableau Blueprint.
A sample of the presentations is below.
University of South Carolina Presentation 1 Summary:
Institutional dashboards are fundamental tools for providing displays of internal and reported data to the public to improve transparency and accessibility of data. The purpose of this presentation is to showcase the purpose of public-facing dashboards within institutional research, developed visuals that are interactive and comprehensible for the public, and the importance of implementing digital accessibility.
University of South Carolina Presentation 2 Summary:
Surveys are an essential mechanism used to gain qualitative and quantitative insights on the student experience, and can inform academic program planning, resource allocation, and leadership priorities. With an increasingly diverse student population and stakeholders eager to assess the experience of various sub-groups, it can be challenging to adequately capture student population nuances in survey results. In this session the speaker will highlight different methodologies that facilitate engagement with and analysis of survey data using Tableau.
