Blackboard Courses Will Not Be Deleted

On Tuesday, February 15, some employees received an email from Blackboard entitled, “Blackboard Archive/Export Clean-up.” The email stated Blackboard was “changing the time that instructor-created export packages are available in the system.”

The Division of Information Technology checked with Blackboard about this message, and we were reassured that Course sites in Blackboard will not be deleted. The change only affects course archive and export packages that faculty can create and download if they want to save a copy of their course locally. It does not impact course sites or any course content.
