Required Training

Access to the Carolina Enclave for Secure Research requires that participants complete Security Awareness and Insider Threat Awareness training before accessing Controlled Unclassified Information, and complete yearly refresher training. (NIST SP800-171 rev 2, Section 3.2)

Please complete these three online security awareness courses and submit your certificates of completion to cesrhr@mailbox.sc.edu with a subject of "Security Awareness Training."  Approximate times to complete each course and quiz are listed below. In general, these work best in a Chrome browser. You cannot leave a module and come back later to take the test.

Cybersecurity Awareness: (30 minutes - No quiz)

 

DoD Mandatory Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) Training:  (35 minutes)

 

Insider Threat Awareness: (60 minutes)
