Dr. Pate received her Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Winthrop University in 2008. She then completed her BSN in 2011, her MSN in 2014, and her DNP in 2018 from the University of South Carolina in Columbia.
Dr. Pate’s area of teaching is the undergraduate curriculum focusing on the BSN curriculum. She teaches Nursing Evolution, Health Assessment, Foundations of Nursing, Med/Surg, and Capstone courses and clinicals.

Dr. Pate has practiced in various health care organizations including Piedmont Medical Center, The Community Medical Clinic of Kershaw County, Riverview Medical Center Urgent Care, New Hope Treatment Center, Agape Hospice, and various commercial health insurance companies.
