What's your favorite thing about Columbia?
I love the independence that Columbia gives me when I am away from home. It makes me feel like a true adult.
What are your hobbies or things you like to do?
In my free time I really enjoy reading books. I am currently reading the Twilight series.
What has surprised you the most about Nursing school?
I am currently still in undergrad, so the thing about college that has surprised me the most is how similar it is to high school. The workload is very manageable when you apply yourself and stay on track.
What is an accomplishment in college that you are very proud of?
I am doing very well in my Pathophysiology class, and I am very proud of myself. I currently have an A!
Why did you choose USC?
I decided to come to USC because it wasn't too far from my hometown, and I knew that I would be given the tools I needed to succeed in my major. And so far, I have been happy with my decision.
What advice would you give incoming students?
To incoming students, I would advise them to not overwork themselves and make sure to make frequent time to practice self-care. College can become very overwhelming at times, so self-care is very important.
