What's your favorite thing about Columbia?
Going to Soda City and the Riverwalk!
What are your hobbies or things you like to do?
I love working out, going on walks, and hanging out with my friends. I also love going to coffee shops around Columbia to study with my nursing school friends!
What has surprised you the most about Nursing school?
Nursing school is more manageable than I once thought. It has taught me a great deal about time management, and even with the workload, I still get to do the things I love outside of school. You truly will get into the rhythm of things!
What is an accomplishment in college that you are very proud of?
The accomplishment that I am most proud of is getting into Upper Division. I remember being so nervous as a sophomore, and as a current senior, I have grown and learned so much since then.
Why did you choose USC?
I chose USC because even as an out of state student, the campus made me feel at home. I remember talking to various ambassadors at the visitor center who had such a genuine love for this school, which made me supported and confident even before starting college. I am so glad I made the decision that I did.
What advice would you give incoming students?
Don't be afraid to approach professors and ask for help. This took me a long time to learn, and all the faculty here at USC are here to help and support you!
