All-State Band Recording Project

Faculty members record the etudes for the All-State Band auditions and offer downloadable performance notes on how to approach these pieces.

S.C. Double Reed Day

Double reed players of all ages and abilities experience a full day of clinics, reed classes, recitals and master classes during this biennial event. S.C. Double Reed Day takes place at USC every other year.

Bassoon students

All-State Double Reed Workshop

High school and middle school oboe and bassoon players who plan on auditioning for all-state band are invited to the biennial All-State Double Reed Workshop at the USC School of Music.

All-State Flute Workshop

All-State Flute Workshop

Flute players 6-12th grade and of all abilities are invited to the annual S.C. All-State Flute Workshop at USC. Experience a full day of clinics, audition preparation, and a mock audition to be better prepared for Honor, Region and All-State Band auditions.


USC Day of Percussion

Hundreds of collegiate, high school and middle school percussionists attend a day of clinics, concerts and sessions sponsored by School of Music and the S.C. Chapter of Percussion Arts Society.
