Get Involved

Our goal is to keep alumni connected with each other, invested in the mission and well-being of the School of Music, and active as ambassadors for the School. As we work to strengthen our network of alumni, we hope you will share your ideas so that this network will become invaluable to all of our students, past, present and future.

Be a Social Media Ambassador

Help us share alumni stories on social media using #UofSCAlumni and tagging @GamecockMusic.

Encourage your social network and fellow alumni to participate in our annual giving day, Give4Garnet. Become a member of the Give4Garnet Ambassadors Facebook group and be notified when it is time to sign-up.

Be a Regional Ambassador

The School of Music is looking for hosts in cities across the U.S. to help organize local events and bring alumni in that area together. Send us an email to volunteer.

Your annual gifts are critical in helping the School of Music continue to transform lives through excellence in music teaching, performance, creative activities, research, and service and continue to strive to become a model public higher education music school in the U.S. Donate and help support program areas, performances, scholarships and other initiatives that benefit the students of today.

Be a Mentor

We are looking for alumni to serve as mentors to our current students, as well as participate in an Alumni Lunch & Learn series. Send us an email to volunteer.
