Our 2020 Summer Programs and Camps Look Different!

Our dedication remains strong as we move forward and continue to invest in the success and safety of our students.

Many of our summer programs have adapted to online. Some have had to be cancelled. We hope to see everyone and make music together face-to-face soon!

ONLINE

Music Education, Special Needs, Label-Free

May 11–July 3
Completely asynchronous – 3 credits or CEUs

In this course you will examine, experience, integrate and develop a label-free approach to music education for students with special needs in general music, band, orchestra and choral settings. More information is online here or email Wendy Valerio.

UofSC Drum Major and Leadership Clinic

June 18, 19, 20
The clinic will offer instruction to all students in basic conducting technique, score study, dynamic leadership and more. Scott Lang will present a leadership session, and students will receive focused attention each afternoon as they meet in pairs with our clinicians. Details including a schedule outline, staff, registration and pricing, is here.

String Project

July 27–July 31
We know that camp looks a little different this year, but we are very excited to bring you activities, videos, and challenges for you to accomplish from home. While we can’t be together to make music in person, it is our hope that you learn and grow as a musician just the same. Get the details here.
