Trumpet Studio
Six members of the trumpet studio will be competing in the National Trumpet Competition

Brittany Stone gave a Research Poster Presentation, Examining the Implementation of "A Music Learning Theory for Newborn and Young Children" (Gordon, 2013) in Spain at the SCMEA Professional Development Conference in Columbia, SC – February 4, 2017.
Music History
Michael Brown was awarded a USC SPARC Graduate Research Grant to support archival research on the late-19th century French diva/composer/director Delphine Ugalde at the Bibliothèque nationale de France this summer. He presents his preliminary findings at the USC School of Music Graduate Music Student Showcase colloquium event on Friday, March 17.
