The Music History and Ethnomusicology area at the School of Music is pleased to present its Fall 2017 calendar of events for the Luise E. Peake Music & Culture Colloquium Series. The series offers diverse scholars, topics and event formats to the School of Music, the University of South Carolina, and greater Columbia community. From a Japanese film screening and talk by a composer-activist to a concert of experimental music, this series offers something for everyone and is free and open to the public.
The first events feature UofSC alum Adam Gilbert as he returns to Columbia for a series of workshops and concerts at USC and with Columbia Baroque on early wind instruments September 8 and 9.
