Big Friday sessions occur on designated Fridays throughout the fall and spring semesters, typically once per month. Big Friday offers a comprehensive overview of the College of Engineering and Computing and will typically include a welcome from the dean, a current student question and answer panel, and tours led by faculty in specific majors.
- 3:30 to 3:45 p.m. - Welcome from the Dean
- 3:45 to 4 p.m. – General overview of the College of Engineering and Computing
- 4 to 4:30 p.m. – Question and answer panel with current students
- 4:30 to 5 p.m. – Faculty guided tour of the department of your choice
High school age and older prospective students (and their families), that are interested in majoring in engineering or computing.
When and How?
Big Friday is held six times per year, one Friday in the months of: February, March, April, September, October and November.
Unfortunately, due to the current COVID-19 situation, we have had to cancel our Spring
2020 Big Friday dates. Any information about possible new dates before Fall 2020 will
be posted as soon as information is available.
Fall 2020 dates will be available in September.
Big Friday does not include a tour of the campus. Please register for a full USC Campus Tour with the Visitor Center.
