Computational Thermo-Fluid Laboratory

Description: The Computational Thermo-Fluid (CTF) Laboratory is dedicated in investigation of a wide variety of multiphase thermal-fluids problems with simulation and modeling, including liquid fuel injection in combustion devices and propulsion systems, droplet dynamics in microfluidics devices, explosive dispersal of solid particles, among many others. To deliver high-fidelity simulation results, we have developed efficient flow solvers for very large-scale simulations. We currently utilize the start-of-the-art HPC resources and are running simulation with more than 300,000 CPU-cores.
