This weeklong visual art intensive program is tailored for high school students interested in the visual arts. The curriculum is driven by student interests, emphasizing experimentation and skill development. The program offers participants the chance to delve into various artistic mediums emphasizing drawing, painting, and digital art. Additionally, students will be introduced to Columbia's local arts scene.

Shaina Manuel

Shaina Manuel is originally from Virginia, but moved to Columbia, South Carolina to attend the University of South Carolina. After graduating from USC, Shaina started her career teaching elementary students for 5 years and now teaches middle school. 

In her free time, Shaina enjoys artmaking, focusing on drawing and digital art.
