Thomas Dunn

Thomas Dunn

Thomas Dunn is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt who has successfully led 39 company-wide Lean Six Sigma deployments and trained thousands of process improvement practitioners.  Thomas is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and began his career with the Danaher Corporation as a Lean sensei/practitioner in 1982. In this role he was responsible for improving the company’s overall safety, quality, delivery, and cost measures. While at Danaher Corporation, Thomas performed hundreds of 5S Events, KAIZEN Workshops, and LEAN projects. In the early 90’s Thomas increased his process improvement capabilities by obtaining a Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, and ultimately a Master Black Belt certification. Through this journey Thomas became a seasoned and dependable analytical problem solver. In 1999 Thomas founded the consulting firm Dbar-Innovations.

Marshall Naulk

Marshall Nauck

Marshall Nauck is President of MHNauck Consulting, LLC., and is a Design, Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Master Trainer, Program Manager, Performance Solutions Consultant.  Marshall is an Executive Leader and Design/Lean/Six Sigma Master Black belt with extensive leadership experience in employee and organizational development, business strategy development, product and process development, engineering management, strategic supply chain management, and product line management. As a Master Trainer, Marshall is adept in the area of adult education, technical training and training development. He has worked with companies throughout the US, and has taught in diverse locations in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Marshall’s training and consulting experience extends to most industries, and all business functions.  Alongside his consulting role, Marshall is an adjunct faculty member for the University of South Carolina, the University of Houston School of Continuing and Professional Education, and James Madison University, where he teaches both Black Belt and Green Belt programs. He is also currently a member of the SixSigma.US consulting and training team. Prior to founding MHNauck Consulting LLC, Marshall served on the Operations Executive Leadership Team for the Southwest Region of Quest Diagnostics, holding the role of Director of Process Improvement and Project Management. His team was responsible for process excellence and program management in this $800MM+ region of the world's leading supplier of diagnostic health insights. Prior to joining Quest, Marshall held the position of Associate Director of Quality Engineering for the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, one of the top cancer centers in the world. He has also held positions of Master Black Belt and Master Trainer for Cessna Aircraft Company and its parent corporation, Textron. While serving in Textron University, Marshall was responsible for the design and implementation of enterprise-wide Six Sigma and Integrated Supply Chain training programs. Rounding out his career, Marshall has held a variety of key positions in both Cessna Aircraft Company, and Honeywell, Inc, including Process Integration Leader for Integrated Product and Process Development, Commodity Team Leader, Engineering Manager, Engineering Program Manager, and Product Line Manager and Buyer. Marshall has served in the U.S. Navy and Naval Reserve where he was a Submarine Division Officer and an Engineering Duty Department Head within the Fleet Technical Support Center, Pacific. Marshall holds an M.S.E. in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University, the equivalent of an M.S. in Nuclear Engineering through his training in the U.S. Navy Nuclear Power program, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University. Marshall also holds a Private Pilot’s license, and has worked as a professional brass musician. He and his wife Daphne, have two daughters, Liesl and Anneliese, both teachers, and a son, Cullen, majoring in Aerospace Engineering.

Marc S. Block

Master Black Belt Marc Block was a Six Sigma Master Black Belt with General Electric, and a Master Black Belt and Senior Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers (IBM Business Consulting Services).  Principal of CFQ International LLC, he is certified by the prestigious Motorola University to train and coach both Green Belts and Black Belts, and has been frequently used by other groups to provide training and coaching support at all levels, from overview to senior leadership seminars, across all facets of Lean Six Sigma including both process/product improvement and process/product design/development. Marc holds a bachelor’s degree in Astronautical Engineering from MIT, a master’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Rutgers University, and the title of Professor Emeritus from the US Air Force Academic Instructor School. Overall, Marc has nearly thirty years of experience in quality program implementation, management consulting, and project management. He has experience in the implementation of Lean Six Sigma quality including project team training and management activities. His knowledge of quality management includes strategic planning, electronic meeting facilitation, business process reengineering, metrics development and rollout, business function assessment, and leadership skills development. He has also served in the U.S. Air Force as an Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) certified project officer, an internal quality consultant (TQM Facilitator with Det 2, Space and Missile Systems Center, and staff member at the Air Force Quality Institute), and curriculum evaluator and instructor within the Air University. Marc has trained thousands of Lean Six Sigma Green Belts, hundreds of Black Belts and dozens of Master Black belts, while providing coaching and certification at each level after project completion.  He has led awareness workshops with front-line operators, and executive sessions with C-level executives.  He has participated directly with manufacturing clients and transactional clients alike, as well as presenting public courses with attendees from various backgrounds.  Marc has aided clients, on-site, across the US and abroad (Canada, Mexico, Trinidad, Singapore, China, South Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, India, Belgium, Netherlands, UK, Italy, Germany, France and Romania).  Marc is a private pilot, SCUBA diver, and avid motorcyclist.  He has been a soccer referee for 40+ years, achieving the grade of National Emeritus Referee, and spending 8 years working professional league matches.
