Desiree White is a recent graduate of the South Carolina Honors College, where she earned a BARSC degree in data analytics of music and culture, an interdisciplinary program that combined statistics, anthropology and music to better understand people, communities and culture. Throughout her time at Carolina, Desiree was deeply involved in campus leadership through the Black Honors Caucus, University Ambassadors and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. These experiences sparked her passion for building community, creating meaningful student experiences and serving others. Desiree looks forward to returning to the Honors College and helping students create the same sense of belonging and memorable experiences that shaped her own undergraduate journey. 

In her free time, Desiree enjoys singing, roller skating and making the most of her Regal Unlimited movie subscription. Her favorite films include romantic comedies, musicals and action movies, and she is always happy to swap movie recommendations. She is excited to begin this new chapter and can't wait to meet and support the next generation of Honors students.
