Jan has worked with college students her entire professional career starting at Wesleyan College (Ga.), East Tennessee State University (Tn.) and UofSC. A native of Columbia, South Carolina and a two-time degree University alumna, she returned to campus over 20 years ago to work in National Fellowships and Scholar Programs where she directs the Top Scholar Program. 

When not in the office, Jan enjoys practicing and teaching yoga and is an avid walker, time with family and church, reading, and Gamecock Women’s Basketball.
