Matt Jinnette graduated from the University of South Carolina in August of 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Retail Management. While in school, he received an internship with the Lexington County Blowfish as a merchandising intern, where he proceeded to stay for 6 seasons, working his way up from an intern to the Assistant General Manager. During those 6 years he would go on to take over work in every department within the organization from Accounting and Finance, Food and Beverage, Merchandising, Media, Promotions and Community Events, Tickets and Sales, etc. One of his favorite aspects of the job was getting to work with hundreds of students, mostly from the University of South Carolina, but also around the country through the Blowfish Internship Program and getting the opportunity to work with so many talented individuals. He looks forward to continuing to work with many brilliant minds while moving on to his new role as Database Coordinator and Office Manager with the South Carolina Honors College and with National Fellowships and Scholar Programs.

Matt has lived in Columbia for most of his life and currently resides near Blythewood with his girlfriend, Ashlee, and dog, Luna, and loves to go out and live life with them both. In his spare time, Matt, loves to get into the outdoors enjoying nature or staying in and playing some video games with friends he has made around the country and around the world through online gaming.
