Thomas Holmes joined the Honors College in 2014 to serve as the Director of Information Technology.  Prior to working in the Honors College, Thomas was an Information Resource Consultant for the Division of Medicaid Policy Research in the Institute for Families in Society (IFS).  He also worked previously at the University of North Carolina – Charlotte, where he was an IT Analyst in the Office of Classroom Support.  Thomas also worked at Benedict College in the roles of Technology Specialist, Learning Management System Administrator, Adjunct Instructor, and Technology Specialist to Accreditation Committees. During his time at Benedict College, Thomas was selected to serve on the College’s Technology Advisory Committee and was selected as College Staff Member of the Year.

Thomas graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics.  He completed his master’s degree in Information Technology Management from Webster University.  Thomas enjoys mentoring, playing golf, and watching college sports.
