MLK Days of Service

Each year we celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through a series of events held throughout the month of January. Join hands with your Carolina community to honor Dr. King’s life and to work together to help others.

Annual MLK Events

Each year, we remember the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a slate of annual events, plus special seminars and other learning experiences that continue to spread his vision and work. MLK Day of Service

Honor the work and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on our Annual Day of Service. Join us Saturday, January 13th for this special day of service. Hear from a guest speaker on the importance of the day before meeting others and getting the opportunity to serve the local area at an on-campus site or community partner site. We will begin check-in at 8:30 a.m. on Davis Field and hot beverages will be served. Once volunteers return to campus between 11:30 a.m. and noon, boxed lunches will be available for pick up in the Leadership and Service Center.
