The Leadership and Service Awards are held each spring to recognize outstanding students, student organizations, faculty, staff and local professionals who set an positive example of leadership or community service.
The university strives to honor the important work of students, faculty and community members who give selflessly to others through service, leadership and support.
Each year, we honor our outstanding faculty and student leaders along with community
partners during a series of different annual recognition events. These special events,
which honor their achievements, are free and open to the public. The awards and honors
recognize leadership and outstanding efforts in the workplace, in student organizations
and more.

Students who demonstrated extraordinary public or community service efforts through service-learning while attending the University of South Carolina may be recognized at through our annual Service-Learning Awards.
Held each spring, The Outstanding Achievement and Student Triumph (TOAST) Recognition Breakfast honors students nominated for their work in student life areas such as academics, student organizations, a department or program, or achievement in areas such as athletics or arts.
This free breakfast is held each fall to celebrate and build sustainable community partnerships and to connect campus representatives with local agencies to foster successful academic service-learning.
