"Leadership the Disney Way"
Using the key components of leadership: vision, innovation, creativity, and inclusion, the Walt Disney World Leadership Experience provides students with a one-of-a-kind opportunity that is dedicated to building leadership skills, with a touch of pixie dust, to expand how students can further develop their leadership skills on and off campus.
This program is Saturday-Thursday of Spring Break (March, 2023). Transportation, lodging, meals, park passes, and leadership program are included in the cost of registration (announced fall 2022).
Additional Information:
During this program, students will participate in a Disney facilitated program, "Leadership the Disney Way". In this program, students will explore Disney’s 5 Keys of Excellence that guide Disney Cast Members in everything they do. Students will be challenged through a variety of experiences focusing on effective communication and critical thinking. Through hands-on learning and problem-solving scenarios, students will experience the real-world application of these principles as they interact with Disney leaders and discover their own personal leadership style.
50 students will be able to register for this program. Registrations will be on a first-come-first-served basis.
Your registration cost will cover: transportation, lodging, meals, 3-day Walt Disney World park passes, and the leadership program facilitated by Walt Disney World Cast Members. Souvenirs, additional foods/snacks, and any extras will be the responsibility of the individual.
Participating in this program will provide you with an opportunity to experience and learn from a global leader in business and leadership development. This opportunity will enhance your skills and understanding of leadership and allow you to bring back these experiences to UofSC, where you can implement these new ideas and help develop other leaders within our communities.
Registration cost will be posted closer to the beginning of the fall semester, along with registration and payment dates.
