Computing

The computing center provides computing for students and faculty of the College of Arts and Sciences. We also provide support for office computers and computers in classrooms.

Scanning

We have a Contex HD (large format) scanner, which scans up to 18x24 inches.

Checkout Items

The CAS Computing Center offers a number of laptops, digital and video cameras to students, staff and faculty can checkout and use while in our facility or elsewhere for College related work. Some of these items are to be used while in the Computing Center and can be obtained with an ID card. Other items can be reserved and taken to other places on or off campus. Laptops and projectors need to be reserved. You can do this by filling out the form below. If you would like to reserve any other item you may also use the form below.

Checkout Policies

You agree to be the sole user of the items borrowed and to return them to the Computing Center within the time specified. If any such equipment is damaged or lost while in your care, you will pay for the repair or replacement of each damaged or lost item. You also agree to abide by the late return policy and fee schedule: All equipment is due by 12:00 noon of the due date. Late fees are charged per item, calculated as follows: returns after 12:00 noon the same day as due, $5.00. Returns after the due date are charged at $10.00 per additional day. The lab opens at 8:15 am. The Computing Center reserves the right to revoke the privileges of any person who abuses our policies.
