2018 Medical Spending Account (MSA) or Dependent Care Spending Account (DCSA) participants should have recently received a communication from PEPA about the transition to ASIFlex and how the transition will impact their claim submissions. Below are the details:

2018 Claims submission

Participants will continue to submit claims for 2018 expenses to WageWorks. The deadline to submit claims is March 31, 2019. Keep in mind, however, the deadline to incur expenses differs for each account. 

• MSA - Incur expenses through March 15, 2019.
• DCSA - Incur expenses through December 31, 2018. 

Questions about 2018 claims should be directed to WageWorks at 800-342-8017.

2019 Claims submission

Participants will submit claims for 2019 expenses to ASIFlex. The deadline to submit claims for 2019 is March 31, 2020. The deadline to incur expenses for each account will differ in 2019. 

• MSA - Incur expenses through December 31, 2019, and can carry over up to $500 of unused funds into 2020.
• DCSA - Incur expenses through March 15, 2020. 

Participants can submit claims using the ASIFlex mobile app, ASIFlex Online and toll-free fax or mail. Learn more about ASIFlex and its processes online at www.ASIFlex.com/SCMoneyPlus. Questions about 2019 claims should be directed to ASIFlex at 833-SCM-PLUS (833-726-7587).
