SCHOOL OF MUSIC BUDGET COMMITTEE

 

The School of Music Budget Committee should be made up of no less than 5 and no more than 7 members. The Dean and the Assistant Dean of Finance serve as ex officio members.

Membership
At least:

  •     2 applied faculty members, nominated and elected by the faculty
  •     1 academic faculty member, nominated and elected by the faculty
  •     1 ensemble faculty member, nominated and elected by the faculty
  •     1 Music Staff member, nominated and elected by staff
  •      Remaining members will be appointed by the Dean to ensure a diverse, representative committee, taking self-nominations into consideration.

Terms
Members will serve three-year terms on a rotating schedule and the committee will appoint a chair each year. Membership will be confirmed by the April faculty meeting for the following academic year. Members will be distinct from the School of Music Executive Committee.
