Psychology Advisement and Student Services

The Psychology Office of Student Services offers a variety of academic support beyond assistance with advisement and other related questions. The office is staffed by the undergraduate program director, undergraduate program coordinator, first year advisor and peer counselors.

During this pandemic our office will promote the health and well being of our students by offering appointment virtual if needed for Spring 2022. 

One-on-One Advising  

Students are to meet with their academic advisor at least twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall for formal advisement for registration. All students must be advised prior to registration for their academic hold to be removed.  

  • Advisement for the Fall semester typically occurs from mid-October to the first week of November.  
  • Advisement for the Spring semester typically begins after spring break and lasts until the second week of April.   

How do I make an appointment?  

You can schedule an appointment online using EAB Navigate. If you log on and do not see your department listed, contact your advisor or major department directly to inquire on their procedures for scheduling an advising appointment. If you are unsure who to contact, call the Psychology Undergraduate Student Services in Barnwell College at 803-777-8414 for assistance.
