Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, ability to plan, implement and evaluate effectiveness of office procedures. Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and have good verbal communication skills. Background experience in academic setting and familiarity with campus policies and procedures preferred. Minimum Salary: $28,187.

    The UofSC Aiken at Sumter education program is seeking an adjunct instructor for two math methods courses. Applicants must have a master's in an education field and have experience teaching math in the early childhood and/or elementary setting. Both courses will meet during the school day on Wednesdays.     Financial Aid Manager I (Director of Financial Aid and Veterans Affairs), Band 6, USC Sumter.    The Director of Financial Aid and Veterans Affairs will administer all federal, state, and institutional policies and procedures relating to student financial aid, scholarships, and Veterans Affairs. The Director will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Financial Aid and Veterans Affairs Office and will be responsible for supervising office staff to ensure the highest level of personnel effectiveness and customer service. This role will require strong working relationships with Admissions, Records and Advisement, Student Accounts, and other key partners across the University. The ability to supervise and evaluate personnel and work with a complex data system, such as Banner, is required. The Financial Aid and Veterans Affairs Office serves as a resource for area high school guidance offices and campus offices, as needed. The Director will also serve as the Veterans Benefits Certifying Official and will counsel Veterans and their family members on educational benefits available to them. Some travel and evening and weekend presentations/workshops may be required.  Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree and 6 years financial aid or related experience.  Minimum Salary: 49,540

    Financial Aid Coordinator (Financial Aid Counselor), Band 5, USC Sumter.  The Financial Aid Counselor represents the University of South Carolina Sumter to prospective, new, and continuing students; as well as family members, pertinent USC stakeholders, high school guidance counselors, and local administrators. In addition to counseling students, the FA Counselor is responsible for administering federal, state, and institutional aid; including scholarships, grants, loans, and Veterans Affairs benefits. Travel within the USC Sumter service area will be expected as needed. Bachelor’s degree and 1 year financial aid or related experience, or equivalent education and experience. Knowledge of financial aid programs, veterans benefits and Banner data system is highly desirable. Minimum Salary: $34,331.
