General Accommodations
For Blindness or Visual Impairments:

- use of audio recorder in class
- note takers in class
- extended time on tests
- use of computer and technology for taking tests
- scribe for taking tests (although we encourage use of technology as much as possible to increase your level of independence)
- reduced course load recognized as full-time by USC
For Wheelchair Use:
- accessible desks in the classrooms
- depending upon functional limitations, additional accommodations may include extended time on tests, note takers and reduced course load recognized as full-time by USC
For Psychiatric Disabilities:
- reduced course load recognized as full-time by USC
- use of audio recorder in class
For Deafness or Hard of Hearing:
- sign language interpreters
- note takers
- reduced course load recognized as full-time by USC
For Traumatic Brain Injuries:
- reduced course load recognized as full-time by USC
- use of audio recorder in class
- depending upon functional limitations, additional accommodations may include approval for things such as extended time on tests and note takers
For Learning Disabilities:

- depending upon the specific learning disability and functional limitations, additional
accommodations may include approval for things such as audio books or note takers
For ADD/ADHD:
- extended time on tests
- use of audio recorder in class
For Health-Related Disabilities:
- student may need to eat or drink during class or exams
- student may need to use the restroom during class or exams
- student will need to sit in the seat of their choice
- use of audio recorder
- extended time on tests
- reduced course load recognized as full-time by USC
