Description: The Emergency Shelter is a temporary night shelter located at 320 W. Oakland Ave. It is open every night from 6:00 pm to 7:00 am. Guests must arrive no later than 8:00 pm unless accompanied by the Sumter Police Dept. The guests receive an evening meal at approximately 7:00 pm and showers and laundry machines are available. We have beds for men and women on a first come first serve basis.

Description: The mission provides clothing, housing, food, discipleship, and many other opportunities for men and women who have struggled with homelessness and addictions. SMO provides men and women with hope and with prospects of not just a new life on earth but with finding their place in Christ. Members of the houses give back to the community by feeding the homeless and ministering to all those in need.
