The Research Education Component (REC) of the CCADMR is designed to recruit, train, and establish a mentor network for URM faculty at participating institutions. These scholars are committed to becoming independent investigators who will advance the science about sociocultural, behavioral, and environmental determinants of ADRD-related health disparities through population-based research using secondary data analysis.

Monthly seminars are led by CCADMR-affiliated faculty focused on ADRD health disparities, minority aging, cognitive aging, population-based data, and professional development.
