Professors Receive Funding

Congratulations to the following faculty members that had their grants funded:

Professor Richard Adams

He received a grant for his project entitled, “Catalytic Upgrading of Hydrocarbons by Selective Oxidation Using CuFe and CuRu Bimetallic Catalysts,” funded by CeRCaS for a total amount of $36,000.00. The CoPI on this project is Professor Christopher Williams, of Chemical Engineering.

Professor Donna Chen

She received a grant for her project entitled, “Fundamental Studies of Pd/Graphene for Cross Coupling and C-H Activation,” funded by CeRCaS for a total amount of $27,000.00.  The CoPI on this project is Professor John Regalbuto, of Chemical Engineering.

Professor Caryn Outten

She received an increase in funding for her project entitled, “Mechanisms of Iron and Thiol Redox Regulation in Yeast,” funded by National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS)/ NIH in the amount of $32,305.00.

Professor Susan Richardson

She received a grant for her project entitled, “SusChEM: GOALI: Drinking Water Safety and Sustainability: Identifying Key Chemical Drivers of Toxicity for Long-Term Solutions in the United States,” funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) for a total amount of $190,000.00.
