Allison, a member of Professor Hans-Conrad zur Loye’s group, passed her Ph.D. dissertation defense on June 21, 2016.  Her defense was entitled, "Materials Discovery by Crystal Growth: Synthesis, Structure Determination, Magnetic, and Optical Properties of Complex Lanthanide Containing Oxides, Oxyhydroxides, and Oxyfluorides."
