The Society for Applied Spectroscopy is pleased to be able to recognize outstanding members for their service to the
Society and for their exceptional contributions to spectroscopy.  This recognition involves the designation of a
number of Fellows of the Society. Prof. Angel's selection was based on his outstanding contributions to
spectroscopy and science, as well as his service to the Society.
