Kathy Cobb owned and directed her own dance studio, Stage Door Dance Theatre in Marlborough, MA from 1999-2019. She graduated with a BFA from the Boston Conservatory of Music and has had the privilege of studying with masters such as the late Maggie Black, David Howard, Finis Jhung, Gregory Hines, and many others. Although her early years were primarily spent performing in Off-Broadway, Regional, and Stock theatres, she discovered a passion for teaching and sharing her knowledge with others. In addition to owning and operating, Stage Door Dance Theatre, Kathy was and remains a dance faculty member for Middlesex Community College in MA. She also has choreographed numerous musicals some of which include, Chicago, How to Succeed in Business, Seussical, Bat Boy, Shrek Jr. Peter Pan Jr.. Music Man, and most recently James and the Giant Peach. Kathy is thrilled to be a member of the adjunct dance faculty of UofSC and looks forward to educating, motivating and inspiring a new population of dancers!
