Advancement

Following in the university’s footsteps, the College of Arts and Sciences Advancement Office takes a strategic, integrated approach to increase understanding and support among key constituents, including alumni and friends, prospective students and parents, members of the community, potential donors and the media. The three main components of Advancement are Alumni Relations, Communications and Development. The college’s advancement team is responsible for:

  • Engaging alumni as volunteers, advocates and supporters.
  • Promoting and marketing the college to prospective students and parents.
  • Communicating about the college with those who have a stake in its success, including alumni and community members.
  • Securing financial support from donors committed to the mission of the college.
