After a sponsored project award is made, the Office of Sponsored Awards Management, working with the office of Grants and Funds Management, continues to provide support as needed to successfully manage the sponsored project. Some of the most commonly requested award actions include creation of risk accounts (also known as advance accounts), no-cost extensions, rebudgeting, carry forward/carryover and principal investigator (PI) transfer requests.
