USC research featured in the 2024 State of the University speech
On Wednesday, September 11, 2024 university President Michael Amiridis gave his annual State of the University Address at the Russell House. The speech celebrated USC’s record-setting year of research funding, which totaled $309 million in fiscal year 2024, and highlighted several grants USC’s outstanding faculty scholars received during that period. The Office of the Vice President for Research is proud to contribute each year to the university’s strategic plan, For South Carolina: A Path to Excellence, by helping to build research momentum and address challenges facing the Palmetto State.
