Erin Butler is the director of research training in the CGI Hub. In this role, she provides specialized training and support to faculty researchers and research administration staff at USC for research funding growth and effectiveness.

Erin has over ten years of combined experience in research development and research administration in a higher education setting. She has delivered many presentations to national RA and RD communities and has authored articles on faculty collaboration and standard operating procedures. She is a Certified Research Administrator through the Research Administration Certification Council, holds an MBA from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and is currently pursuing an Ed.D. in higher education administration at the University of West Georgia.
