Invite your students: Getting Started in Research workshops
The Office of Undergraduate Research will offer the last three sessions of the Getting Started in Research Workshop for the fall 2021 semester in the coming weeks. Faculty members are encouraged to share this opportunity for their students to learn more about undergraduate research. These workshops provide a hands-on opportunity for students to learn how to find and reach out to potential faculty mentors, get details on next steps in research and funding opportunities. Register now for ASPIRE I Q&A sessions in December
ASPIRE is a signature program of the Office of the Vice President for Research, attracting well over 150 proposals every year. The ASPIRE program is now accepting proposals for the 2022 funding cycle. Prospective ASPIRE applicants are strongly encouraged to attend a virtual Q&A session for the track to which they plan to apply. ASPIRE I Q&A sessions for faculty and postdocs have just been announced for several dates in December 2021. ASPIRE II and III sessions will be announced soon, to be held in January 2022. Prospective applicants can register for ASPIRE I Q&A sessions, sign up to be notified when ASPIRE II and III Q&A sessions are announced and view complete ASPIRE 2022 application details on the ASPIRE program webpage.
