Register for Classes

After you have arrived to the U.S., completed all orientation obligations, and taken care of your registration holds, you can register for your first semester of class! Read below for basic information about the class registration process.

1. Check Self Service Carolina to make sure your citizenship verification, immunization, and advisement holds are all lifted. If you have outstanding admission requirements or other issues, you may have additional holds that need to be addressed.
2. Meet with your academic advisor. If you are an undergraduate student, this will likely happen during New Student Orientation. If you are a graduate student, you should contact your program director. If you need additional assistance, reach out to your academic department.
