Jie focuses on helping students achieve their educational/career goals through immigration advising. He serves as an advisor on the F-1 immigration advising team as well as coordinating the SAVE verification process for non-citizen students. He is also responsible for the IT success of the office. 

Jie manages and maintains the several data systems that are integral to the success of the ISS office. He ensures data integrity within the ISS office, manages reporting, maintains federal immigration systems and databases, and ensures compatibility with internal USC systems. Jie has worked in the Global Carolina family since 2013 in a variety of contexts.
