The College of Social Work offers graduate certificate programs to provide opportunities for in-depth study in a focused field of practice. The certificate programs are designed to meet the needs for trained social workers in high-demand fields of practice.
Certificate Options
The College of Social Work administers the Social and Behavioral Health with Military Members, Veterans and Military Families, Drug and Addiction Studies and Trauma-Informed Practice programs. Our certificate programs can be completed in conjunction with another graduate degree or as a stand alone program for students and working professionals.
MSW students also have the opportunity to enroll in other graduate certificate programs, including Women's and Gender Studies, administered by the College of Arts and Sciences, and Aging, administered by the Arnold School of Public Health.
MSW graduates are eligible to apply for the Graduate Certificate in Play Therapy offered through the College of Education.
