Bachelor of Social Work

Our Bachelor of Social Work program combines classroom learning, research and field education.

What You Can Expect

The BSW degree program was launched in 2009 in response to the growing need for social workers in South Carolina. Since then, our four-year program has grown to nearly 200 students, and we graduate about 50 students each year.

Our program prepares you for a satisfying career serving individuals, families and communities. The Bachelor of Social Work curriculum grounds you in a liberal arts education and provides the values, skills, knowledge and competencies necessary for generalist social work practice. Plan a campus visit or contact us to learn if a social work career is right for you.
