International Study Away

Navigating a new landscape can open your eyes to culture, history a new language or even your own heritage. Did we mention you might make lifelong friends?

We want all communication students to study abroad! Why? According to U.S. News & World Report, an increasing number of employers seek hires with both hard and soft skills. The ability to adapt to changing circumstances, learn through experience and understand diversity and cultural differences are all examples of soft skills. Our classes are designed to advance these.

Service Learning and Literacy in Malawi, Africa:  Experience firsthand, some of the challenges facing citizens in Malawi, Africa, connect with local organizations and engage in meaningful discussions with their leaders and participate in a community service project.
