2025 USC Region II Science and Engineering Fair
In 2025, the Region II Science and Engineering Fair is excited to welcome Regions IV and VI participants to the Region II event. Student who live in the following counties are eligible to participate:
Allendale, Aiken, Bamberg, Barnwell, Calhoun, Chesterfield, Clarendon, Darlington, Dillon, Edgefield, Fairfield, Florence, Hampton, Horry, Kershaw, Lee, Lexington, Marion, Marlboro, McCormick, Newberry, Orangeburg, Richland, Saluda, Sumter, Williamsburg
Students enrolled in public, private or homeschool programs in these counties are encouraged to prepare a project for the 2025 USC Region II Science and Engineering Fair!
Due to space limitations, students from counties outside this area will not be eligible to participate in the 2025 USC Region II Science and Engineering Fair.
Elementary Students’ Science and Engineering Fair
- Grade Levels: 4th and 5th Grade Students
- Competition: Friday, March 7, 2025 at the Pastides Alumni Center, Columbia, SC
- Awards Ceremony: Friday, March 7, 2025 at the Pastides Alumni Center, Columbia SC
- Planned Registration Window: October 14, 2024 to March 7, 2025 (Elementary students may register on the day of the event.)
Middle School Students’ Science and Engineering Fair
- Grade Levels: 5th, 6th and 7th Grade Students
- Competition: Friday, March 7, 2025 at the Pastides Alumni Center, Columbia, SC
- Awards Ceremony: Sunday, March 23, 2025 in the Booker T. Washington Auditorium
- Planned Registration Window: October 14, 2024 to February 14, 2025
High School Students’ ISEF-affiliated Science and Engineering Fair
- Grade Levels: 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th Grade Students
- Competition: Monday, March 10, 2025 at the Pastides Alumni Center, Columbia, SC
- Awards Ceremony: Sunday, March 23, 2025 in the Booker T. Washington Auditorium
- Planned Registration Window: October 14, 2024 to February 14, 2025
The USC Region II Science and Engineering Fair is affiliated with the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair. Regeneron ISEF is the world’s largest global science competition for high school students. Learn more about ISEF . The 2025 Regeneron ISEF competition will be held in Columbus, OH, May 10-16, 2025.
